The descendants of Friedrich Wilhelm Nebelsick included his sons John, Louis and Henry. The Association is made up of the descendants of these three lines.
John’s grandson Kenneth (son of Willisd) didn’t know any other Nebelsicks in the United States. Arthur Nebelsick (son of Louis) found him accidentally and Ken was very anxious to meet some of the family so he and Art arranged a get-together in ?year. Kenneth’s Grandfather John had left the family and only gone back once when his mother died so Ken had lost track of his relatives. In addition, two girls from the Henry line and 2 girls from the John line also attended.
Those in attendance from the Louis line included Arthur (and wife Bessie) from Crete, Nebraska and Fred from Owensville, Missouri. Art and Bessie had no children. Fred had a daughter living and one (1) grandson at that time. Louis died at the age of 56, before his son Louis and Habie (Heronimus) were married so Habie never saw him. Art and Fred remembered that their Grandfather Willhelm and wife came from Germany. They had his will there and read it which was interesting. He willed his farm at Owensville, Missouri to his son Louis . Louis’s sons and daughters sold the farm after their parents died and divided the money.
